Image © Jamie Holdorf GHOST IN THE DARK This was to be my one and only sighting of this appropriately named critter. They frequently hover head down against crinoids, soft corals, or gorgonians, but this one was just out in the open trying to blend in with the muck. With some underwater photo assistance from Simon and the lack of a background, I was able to get the “in the dark” look.
